In the January 2023 Council Meeting, Council passed a motion directing the executive to take action on pursuing flexible due dates for students facing emotional reactions on Remembrance Day and Truth and Reconciliation Day. During the question period at the February 2023 Senate meeting, CASG asked about the existing possibilities of flexible and compassionate due dates that do not put the onus on students. The respondents  indicated that no such accommodations exist and none plan to be put in place.

In response to this, CASG has put together a resource guide for students seeking any king of accommodations for religious or personal needs.
