Scholarship Opportunities
Welcome! Did you know? Every year, CASG awards a total of $16,000 in scholarships to undergraduate students?
This year, CASG is recognizing students whose labour, grit, and impact usually goes unnamed and unnoticed. It’s not about being the loudest voice in the room, or having the perfect transcript… because being a student is hard enough already. Presenting the 2025-2026 new scholarship categories:
-
These bursaries are intended to provide low-barrier financial support for textbooks, technology, and essential academic costs. Selection is conducted via a lottery system for all eligible applicants. Total of ten (10) bursaries available, each valued at $300.
Applications are now closed.
-
This award recognizes the undergraduate students who have demonstrated consistent, high-level academic excellence across their studies. Total of three (3) awards, each valued at $800.

-
This award rewards grit, growth, and improvement. It is specifically designed for students who have faced challenges and can demonstrate a meaningful upward academic trajectory or recovery from academic difficulty. Total of two (2) awards, each valued at $800.

-
This award recognizes undergraduate students who demonstrate sustained contribution to others through unpaid, non-titled, and informal work. We are looking for "unrecognized labor"—the work you do because it needs to be done, not because it comes with a title. Total nine (9) awards, each valued at $1,000.
Applications are now closed.
Scholarship FAQs
Can I apply to multiple scholarship categories?
Yes! Please apply to all of the CASG scholarships that you feel you are eligible for!
What should be in the reference letter?
If applicable, you can find instructions on who should write your reference letter in the relevant scholarship you are applying to. Can I upload an unofficial transcript?
Yes! You can upload an unofficial transcript for your application. You can request an unofficial transcript through Carleton Central. You can request the unofficial transcript from Carleton at no cost. It might take a business day or two to receive it, so please plan in advance.
